United Way of Door County-Various Locations-USPS Stamp out Hunger Food Pickup

The US Postal Service annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is on May 11, 2024. Food collected in Door County supports the Food Pantry Coalition and our local food pantries. Volunteers are needed to help pickup donated food along local postal routes and deliver it back to the post office. Volunteer teams of two will receive a postal route map, marked with driving instructions, to drive and collect food donations. Food donations ready for pickup will be placed by mailboxes. A valid drivers license is needed for the driver, and a vehicle (truck or SUV is best) to pickup donations and deliver them back to the post office. Volunteers will meet at the post office at 9:30AM to receive route maps and head out! Depending on the route, the time commitment is 3 to 5 hrs. Volunteers are needed throughout Door County.
