Are you struggling to find childcare and the thought of paying for childcare seems out of reach based on what you would make if you were to get a job?

What if you were able to earn money at home while caring for your own children at the same time?

We have grant money available to help you start an in home based child care program. There will be almost no cost to you and if you are interested in becoming licensed, we’ll be there to support you – every step along the way!

Door County Child Care Benefit Pilot Program Overview

The Door County Child Care Benefit Pilot Program provides Door County employers the opportunity to offer a child care stipend to their employees with matching funds provided by the Women’s Fund of Door County. Full-time employees will receive up to a $300 child care stipend each month and part-time employees will receive a stipend up to $150 each month. Stipends will be paid directly to the employee’s child care provider.

American Red Cross Babysitter Training

The United Way of Door County has partnered with the American Red Cross to bring in person babysitter training to youth in Door County. Follow our Facebook page to see when the next classes are being offered or contact Molly Gary: molly@unitedwaydc.com or call/text Molly at: 920-421-3149.
