


A personalized, self-paced training to create pathways toward a more stable and financially secure future
ABOUT
Thriving in Door County offers asset limited, income constrained, employed households a pathway toward stability through personalized, self-paced training.
Offered in both English and Spanish, participants will invest in their personal growth by applying valuable tools and utilizing resources within a supportive and safe environment.

HOW IT WORKS
MONTHS 1-2
Participants will meet face-to-face with their coach.
During the meeting, they will:
- Discuss participants’ financial and personal goals.
- Build their relationship as coach and participant.
- Discuss program responsibilities and expectations.
MONTHS 3-26
- Participant engages in educational opportunities aligned with their specific goals.
- Check in weekly with coaches.
- 2-4 hour time commitment to program.
MONTHS 27-36
- Maintain contact with coach and program coordinator.
- Apply the skills acquired to successfully transition out of the program.
VOLUNTEERS
Thriving in Door County will utilize volunteers to:
- Share expertise and serve as coaches.
- Serve on an oversight committee.
OUTCOMES
After completing each month’s educational and personal growth objectives, participants will receive a financial incentive.
Thriving in Door County hopes to create new patterns of behavior that will result in lasting financial and personal stability.
