The Vehicle Manager (Cleaner, organizer, re-stocker, gasser upper, sweeper-outer) is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is road ready as needed. This includes washing the exterior, cleaning the interior, restocking supplies as needed, and making sure it is fueled up and presentable to the public. The Vehicle Manager will assist drivers with getting the Bookmobile back and forth as needed.
Time commitment: 2-4 hours in preparation for each program.
Training: Each volunteer will receive training on how to properly wash and dry the vehicle, interior cleaning needs, and stocking expectations.
Requirements: Comfortable on a ladder and has an exceptional eye for detail. Ability to lift, pull, bend, and general physical labor associated with cleaning a large vehicle.
This opportunity is Seasonal: April – October, 1-2 times a week.
This opportunity is appropriate for Adults or High school students, with or without an adult.
